Chicken is actually a great protein if its from a trusted source. You will shortly learn what I mean by this by the end of this video.
Well, Checkout the caloric values of chicken: Its just fantastic, specially without the skin, its almost no saturated fat!

With the skin:

Calories: 193

Saturated Fat: 8 gram

Cholesterol: 82 milligrams

Protein: 29 grams

Without the skin:

Calories: 142

Saturated Fat: 1 gram

Cholesterol: 73 milligrams

5: Over 90 percent Chicken Contain Bacteria that can make you Sick! The Bacteria Ecoli and Salmonella are the main concern. There are no tests carried out for these bacteria by any authorities or government bodies.

4: Does not Lower Your Cholesterol. Studies have shown that switching from red meat like beef to chicken has not shown to considerably lower your blood cholesterol or reduce your body fat.

3: Chickens contain cancer-causing chemical arsenic. The FDA(Food and Drug Administration ) has admitted that chicken meat is filled with arsenic, a highly poisonous chemical that is four times more toxic than mercury. Arsenic can lead to invasive squamous carcinoma, Bowen illness, basal cell skin cancer carcinoma, and liver, kidney, lung, and bladder cancer.

2: Fake Meat! No Nutrients Only Proteins:
Chicken now grow for only about 2 to 3 months before they are consumed.
Two decades ago, it used to take one year for them to grown before they were consumed. A decade ago, this period was reduced to 6 months before they were consumed and now presently this growth period is reduced to 2 or 3 months. Shocking! Right ! This means they have accelerated their growth by using some genetic DNA modification methods. You know people do anything to make more money!

1: Antibiotic and Hormone Treated Chicken – Antibiotic Resistance: As Discussed earlier, the chicken are treated with antibiotics in order to make them grow faster. The high usage of antibiotics has led to an increased risk of bacteria developing antibiotic resistance.
The bottom Line: Chicken can still be part of a healthy diet provided you purchase antibiotic and hormone free varieties, preferably from local farmers or other trusted sources. But unfortnunately, factory farming accounts for 99.9 percent of chickens raised for meat.
